A few years ago, David, Andrew and Jeff formed BAM to create natural synergy between different skill sets and experiences - an environment where creative solutions are formed in diversity, richness and nuance.
Today, BAM has grown to a team of 40, giving us the unique ability to create marketing experiences that go beyond what a traditional creative studio can offer. The natural integration they created in BAM has also resulted in giving our clients the natural efficiencies and coordinated control that comes with a single-source supplier.

As a Co-founder of BAM Communications, David has been crafting solutions for marketing problems through design for over two decades. Between 2003-2012, David developed and directed international brand identities and communication strategies for Western Red Cedar Lumber Association (WRCLA) positioning British Columbia as a global supplier of world-class forest products; and for Xypex Chemical Corporation, an exclusive concrete waterproofing material. A natural strategist, David develops, directs, and implements strategies to guide BAM in creating memorable brand experiences for our clients.
As an unconventional logician, Jeff’s knowledge and experience in the digital interactive world have made him a brigadier on the coding frontier. He has created and managed full digital experiences for international brands such as Trump Hotels, The Ritz-Carlton, McDonald’s and Aspac. Jeff’s DNA has been internally coded to drive his ceaseless hunger for technological advancement, and his state-of-the-art innovations for Canada’s largest community developer, Concord Pacific, have placed BAM as a leader in digital real estate marketing.
Passionate about design, architecture and branding, Andrew began his creative career in 2005 after studying design at Emily Carr. Since then, his career has included working with on numerous real estate developers like Concord Pacific, Westbank, Polygon and Bosa. After co- founding BAM, his passion has driven him to create exceptional marketing campaigns for clients throughout North America, and creating desirable, engaging brands for our clients.
Specializing in visual marketing and 3D media, Joe embraces the challenge of perfection in everything he does. He has worked with major developers and architects across North America, Asia, with multi-conglomerate Fortune global 500 companies like Emirates Airlines and Hutchison Whampoa, and on local initiatives for the City of Surrey’s Innovation Boulevard, Clean Energy Hub, Vision of Rapid Transit, and many more.
Once the mastermind behind many national and international corporate identity programs for ICBC, Korn Ferry International, Xerox Canada, John Hancock (U.S. arm of Manulife Financial), A&W Food Services of Canada, BC Hydro and Northern Savings Credit Union, Si brings an unmatched depth of experience to BAM. His strategic and visual insights illuminate complex ideas that would otherwise not come to life. He also busies his days planting ideas and mentoring the next generation of creative minds at Capilano University.
As a creative director, copywriter, designer, and creative strategist, Karsten’s experience over two decades in advertising and marketing spans almost every conceivable market segment. He has worked on international brands like Avis, Blaupunkt, Heart & Stroke Foundation, Mercedes-Benz and Minolta. His focus on real estate over the past decade has also subsequently resulted in an equally prolific portfolio, with clients that include, Four Seasons, Hard Rock Hotels, Hyatt, Intrawest, Orient Express, Pan Pacific Hotels & Resorts, The Ritz- Carlton and Trump Hotels. With formal educations in graphic design and copywriting, he provides our clients with a creatively comprehensive approach to their projects.
Leo brings a wealth of experience as an award-winning brand specialist and art director, highly skilled in communicating a company’s story with a proven strategic design process, from research to concept development and technical production. Leo’s skills in typography, package design, exhibit design, interaction design, photo art direction, 3D environments, and print design have contributed to the success of his clients, including PepsiCo, Holland America Line, Madison Square Garden, Hersheys, The Seattle Art Museum, California Closets, The Pacific Northwest Ballet, 3Form, Truvia, K2, Clearwire, Teledesic, and more. Leo has taught design at Cornish Colleges of the Arts, and excels as a collaborative design leader, always pushing the boundaries of design to deliver solutions that satisfy and exceed the creative brief.
A consummate interior designer with over 20 years of experience, Lesley began her career with a simple love of furniture and how they define spaces. While studying Interior Design at BCIT, she founded In Design Studio and began designing interiors for luxury single-family homes. Since then, she has worked with Insight Design Group and Lot 30 Design, bringing her unique style to multi-family, townhome and commercial properties for clients like British Pacific Properties, Cressey, Intracorp and Ledingham Mcallister.
With almost 2 decades of experience creating exceptional interior designs, Ian has created spaces for multi-family, single family homes, townhomes and commercial projects for clients like Intracorp, Concord Pacific, Polygon Homes, Intergulf and Bene Homes. Over the years his passion has resulted in working with some of Vancouver’s most respected interior design firms, and on projects throughout BC, Washington State and Oregon.
